A blog about poetry, by Adi. This is basic stuff people. To be a little complicated, if you post a poem on a comment i will add it to a " other bloggers" post every once and a while.
Hi BP, this is good! It surely does hurt me to twist and turn even from sitting in the car. Doing that across rocks would be awful, I would make the water ripple big time.Keep it up, I read your others too. It would take me a long time to pick a favorite, I like them all!"listening to the nothingwashing in your ears" wouldn't be very comforting to me; having my "mind pounce upon [my] boredom" would be some positive action to liven things up a little. :-)..
Like the second line!drumming water
Poetically brought to life.
Water has quite a dramatic role to play in our lives! Your poem captures the essence of the drama!
How clever to think of water as writhing in pain...great read!
ah, the tortured spirit of the river -- no wonder it sometimes bursts through its banks and floods the plains. Beautiful imagry.
i never considered water's path in such a way...it reminds me of a rollercoaster ride
Living water feels pain. The scraping of rock beds on her belly But the flow is uninterrupted. Lovely.
i like the thought of water being alive.
Ah, the movement is audible. Excellent!
a fierce river flowing... i once found myself at the mouth of the columbia river in canada... we had planned on camping and arrived at night... just over the hill and down a few feet the river flowed in a trickle softly... later further down it was just as you say... beautiful
Nice movement in your poem.
